Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of useme4 (https://useme4.com), operated by Sunil Kharol (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. The service
useme4 provides free, browser-based tools that convert bank and financial files between formats, and articles about bookkeeping imports. The tools run on your device. We may change, add or remove tools at any time, and we don't guarantee that the site will always be available.
2. Your responsibilities
- Check every result. Bank files vary widely and automatic conversion can misread a date, an amount or whether money went in or out. Before you import a converted file into accounting software or rely on it for any purpose, compare it with your original statement — at a minimum the number of transactions and the totals.
- Only convert files you are entitled to use.
- Keep backups of your accounting data before importing anything.
- Don't misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, bypass its security, scrape it at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes, including to create false or misleading financial records.
3. Not professional advice
The tools and articles are general information and utilities. They are not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. For advice about your circumstances, consult a qualified professional.
4. No warranty
The site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or any converted file. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer in your country.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, text and code are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the tools and share links to our pages. You may not copy substantial parts of the site or its content without permission. Third-party open-source components (such as PDF.js, licensed under Apache 2.0, and the Public Sans typeface, licensed under the SIL Open Font License) remain subject to their own licences.
QuickBooks and Quicken are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. Other product and bank names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to describe file compatibility. useme4 is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
7. Advertising and links
The site shows ads and links to third-party websites. We aren't responsible for their content, products or practices.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence that apply to you.
